$400K GoFundMe saga, 1 reportedly admits guilt

Johnny Bobbitt and Kate McClure pleaded guilty to their roles in a $400,000 GoFundMe scam in federal court Wednesday, as the once viral, feel-good story continues to unfold.

McClure pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud during an afternoon appearance in U.S. District Court in Camden. She was set free on a $100,000 unsecured bond after the guilty plea in front of Judge Jerome Simandle, and ordered to surrender her passport.
