What To Do If You Think You Have Long Covid

‘Brain fog’ — the inability to focus, recall basic details or perform once-familiar tasks.

Headaches, sometimes severe. Shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, a racing heartbeat. Extreme exhaustion, loss of taste and smell, hair loss, gastrointestinal ailments.

All are among the mysterious symptoms of long COVID syndrome, which doctors believe may afflict as many as 10% to 30% of people who contracted COVID-19. They are also known as “long haulers.”
