EEOC’s stats show $505M secured for employees in 2018

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced it secured $505 million for private sector, state, local and federal employees who filed charges through the agency in fiscal year 2018.

According to an EEOC April 10 press release, the agency’s data from FY 2018 shows that retaliation remains at the top of most frequently filed charges, followed by sex, disability and race discrimination.
