Illegal Drug Trafficking Leader Sentenced to 26 Years

A leader in a large drug trafficking organization whose territory included Bucks County has been sentenced to more than 26 years in federal prison.

U.S. District Court Judge Mark Kearney this week sentenced Vontez Scales, 29, of Philadelphia to 320 months in federal prison and ordered that he pay a $4,000 fine for his role in the so-called “Skipworth” organization.
