Mets legend Lenny Dykstra indicted for drug possession and making threats

Troubled former Met Lenny Dykstra has been indicted for drug possession and terroristic threats by a Union County grand jury.

The 55-year-old center fielder’s latest round of troubles stem from a May 23 run-in with an Uber driver who alleges Dykstra put a gun to his head and threatened him when he refused to adhere to the ex-outfielder’s change of destination.

Dykstra “did threaten to commit any crime of violence with purpose to terrorize” the livery driver, according to the prosecutor’s filing to the Superior Court of New Jersey.
