Nevada Expands State Lawsuit

Attorney General Aaron Ford has filed one of the comprehensive lawsuits in the country regarding the current state opioid litigations. 

In the most recent complaint, Ford named over 40 defendants who have allegedly contributed to the current opioid crisis in the state. 

The new defendants include Sackler family members as well as more distributors and retailers of opioids such as Walgreens, Walmart and CVS. 

Ford explained that while Purdue Pharma opened the door to the opioid crisis, other defendants busted the door wide open, utilizing the market that Purdue created.
