Rapper Juelz Santana facing 10 years in prison after admitting to gun charge

New Jersey rapper Juelz Santana pleaded guilty Thursday to federal weapons charges, admitting he brought a loaded handgun to Newark Liberty International Airport, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey.

The 36-year-old rapper from Totowa, whose legal name is Laron James, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft in federal court in Newark.
