Sony Plans to Bring More Games to PC Through PlayStation’s Latest Acquisition

Sony has confirmed that the recent acquisition of Dutch studio Nixxes is part of a plan to bring more PlayStation games to the PC.

In an interview with Famitsu (via GamesRadar), Sony Interactive Entertainment’s president Jim Ryan was asked about Sony’s future software strategy and whether it includes a PC version. Ryan, on the other hand, said Sony was “satisfied” with its efforts to bring IP to PCs, but it was “still in its infancy” and “looked forward to working with Nixxes to help. I have.”

Sony announced that Nixxes Software will join PlayStation Studios in early July. The announcement itself didn’t provide details on what Nixxes would work on, but when the Dutch studio helped Guerrilla Games ship Killzone: Shadow Fall on the PlayStation 4, Nixxes and PlayStation Studios had previously helped.
