Some Bon-Ton stores could reopen as judge allows sale of company’s intellectual property

A federal judge on Monday signed off on the sale of The Bon-Ton Store's intellectual property to CSG Generation, a technology platform. The company plans to reopen some of the stores and focus on e-commerce.

Bon-Ton shoppers were pleased last week at the news that the department store chain could be opening its doors once again.

Those stores are one step closer to opening now that a federal bankruptcy judge signed off on the sale of the store’s intellectual property.
