$13.4M Settlement Reached in Deadly Tent Collapse at 2015 Prairie Festival in Wood Dale, Il

A $13.4 million settlement has been reached in a deadly tent collapse at the 2015 Prairie Festival in northwest suburban Wood Dale.

The tragedy killed Steven Nincic, 35, and Lorraine Nocek, 81, and injured over a dozen.

The festival’s massive “Mega Tent” came crashing down during a sudden windstorm.

GWC Injury Lawyers uncovered the tent was improperly installed and failed to meet safety standards.
