18 People Sentenced to Total of 144 Years for Gang Drug Trafficking Ring in North Charleston

A long investigation into what prosecutors are calling a violent North Charleston street gang and its associates has resulted in the conviction and sentencing of 18 people.
Prosecutors say the prosecution and sentencing of this drug trafficking ring resulted in defendants receiving a combined total of 144 years in federal prison.
These charges and sentences come from a wiretap investigation spearheaded by the Federal Bureau of Investigations’ Lowcountry Violent Crime Task Force.
