$3M Settlement Reached in Class Action Lawsuit Against ZOA Energy

A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against ZOA Energy, LLC regarding its labeling that claimed the beverage had “0 preservatives.” Those who bought the product could receive $1 per can if they submit a claim before the February deadline.

The lawsuit states that under California law, the product label’s claim of “0 preservatives” was “intentional misrepresentation” and has grounds for restitution.
