A Florida Water Park Is Sued Over a Guest’s ‘Critical’ Injury

No matter where you’re planning a vacation, there are always surprises to be expected.

However, no one expects to suffer an injury when visiting a theme park or water park. But, that’s allegedly exactly what happened to a Florida woman last year when visiting a local water park.

First reported by Boca News Now, Rosa Martinez of Miami-Dade County recently filed a lawsuit against “Rapid Holdings Attractions” and “Premier Parks, LLC” after suffering an injury while enjoying the lazy river at Rapids Water Park in West Palm Beach. The lawsuit alleges she sustained “severe, grievous and permanent injuries, physical and mental pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, and loss of earnings.”
