A New York Couple Is Accused of Committing Medicaid Fraud in Nebraska
A couple from Brooklyn, New York, is facing a lawsuit accusing them of committing Medicaid fraud involving several nursing homes that Nebraska $59.6 million.
A lawsuit filed by the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office accuses Joseph and Rosie Schwartz, and their company, Skyline Healthcare LLC, of making management decisions involving 22 Nebraska facilities in order to enrich themselves.
The 22 Nebraska homes, operated under Cottonwood Healthcare LLC, went into receivership in 2018, the Lincoln Journal Star reported. Skyline homes in other states have also been placed in receivership.
