Alaska Division of State Troopers Agreed to Pay $3 million to Motorcyclist Killed in Pile-Up

After 3 years of denying liability, the Alaska Division of State Troopers agreed to pay $3 million to the family of Aaron Smith, a motorcyclist, who was killed when a State Trooper caused a pile-up on the Seward highway by performing a U-turn in front of a string of vehicles without warning.
