Ashurst and Perkins Coie Law Firms to Merge Creating a Trans-Atlantic Firm

Partners at Ashurst and Perkins Coie have approved the creation of Ashurst Perkins Coie, a trans-Atlantic law firm with around 3,000 lawyers in more than 50 offices.

The firms announced Monday that their partners “voted overwhelmingly” in favor of the proposed combination, which is expected to close in the third quarter of this year. Ashurst Perkins Coie is expected to be a globally integrated firm with combined revenues of $2.8 billion and “flagship hubs” in Seattle, London, Sydney and New York.
