Baltimore Reaches $45 Million Settlement With Allergan

The city of Baltimore announced an agreement has been reached for a $45 million settlement with Allergan Finance LLC to resolve the ongoing opioid lawsuit against the company.

This is a result of the city opting out of the global settlements that were reached across the country over the last few years. The proposed settlement would have only garnered the city $7 million spread over seven years. The new settlement will be $45 million and Allergan will pay the entire amount within 30 days.
