Blue Ridge Bankshares to Be Acquired by HomeTrust Bancshares in All Stock $448M Transaction

HomeTrust Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE: HTB) has agreed to acquire Blue Ridge Bankshares, Inc. (NYSE American: BRBS) in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $448.1 million, expanding HomeTrust’s presence in Virginia and creating a regional commercial bank with more than $7 billion in assets and over 60 locations across the Southeast.

The merger will significantly increase Asheville, North Carolina-based HomeTrust’s scale while extending its commercial banking platform into additional Virginia markets.
