Geico Settles With Victim of Motor Vehicle Collision that Suffered Spinal Injury

Benedict James, of Sandoval & James, PLLC, represented the victim of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in a settlement. The plaintiff was traveling westbound in the 1000 block of Parmer Lane in a 2015 Ford Fusion. The defendant was traveling eastbound in a 2018 Toyota Prius. The defendant failed to stop at the red traffic light colliding into the plaintiff’s vehicle. As a result of the defendant’s negligence the plaintiff sustained serious and long-term injuries in which they received medical care for. Specifically, disc bulges of C3-C7, disc herniations, sprained muscles and ligaments. The plaintiff underwent a minimally invasive spinal surgery as a result of these injuries. Third party Geico accepted responsibility on behalf of their inured and agreed to settle before a lawsuit was filed.
