Central Maine Healthcare Agrees to $1.3M Settlement Over 2025 Data Breach

Central Maine Healthcare has agreed to a $1.3 million settlement to a class action lawsuit over a data breach last year.
The incident happened between March and June, prompting the healthcare system to notify more than 218,000 people that a third party may have accessed their personal information. The settlement allows affected individuals to receive up to $5,000 and free medical records monitoring for a year.
