City of Tulsa to Pay $15M Settlement to Two Men Wrongfully Convicted in 1994

The city of Tulsa will pay a $15 million settlement to two men who were wrongfully convicted in a 1994 drive-by shooting that killed a woman.

Malcolm Scott and De’Marchoe Carpenter served 21 years in prison for the murder of Karen Summers. Their convictions were overturned after a death row inmate confessed to the killing before being executed.
