CoStar, Parent Company of Apartments.com and Homes.com, Completes $800M Acquisition of Homebuilding Data and Software Firm Zonda

CoStar Group has completed its $800 million acquisition of homebuilding data and software firm Zonda, it announced Monday.

The Arlington County-based real estate data and technology company, which owns Homes.com and Apartments.com, announced it planned to acquire Zonda in May. CoStar said the acquisition expands its reach into the new home construction market. Zonda serves more than 3,000 customers, including homebuilders, developers, suppliers and lenders across North America. The company provides data, software and online marketplaces used for land acquisition, development planning, construction forecasting and home sales.
