Couple Was Awarded $5.8 Million After Semi Truck Collision

Crystal Sweet and her husband David Sweet were awarded $5.8 million in damages by a Sherburne County jury relative to a 2016 semi truck collision. Liability was disputed, even though the truck driver pled guilty to driving with her headlights off at the time of this nighttime collision. The client was awarded $4.7M as compensatory damages for a mild traumatic brain injury and the husband was awarded $1.1M in damages for loss of consortium.
