Diopsys, Inc. Resolves DOJ Claims Over Nova ERG Marketing for $14.25 Million

Diopsys Inc., a medical device company based in Middletown, Pennsylvania, has agreed to pay up to $14.25 million to resolve allegations it violated the federal False Claims Act, the Justice Department announced March 28.

The Justice Department said Diopsys knowingly submitted, or caused others to submit, false claims to Medicare and Medicaid involving the use of its NOVA device for vision testing procedures.
