Ex-politician Found Guilty of Murder In Stabbing Death of Las Vegas Investigative Journalist

Former Nevada politician Robert Telles was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday after he was found guilty of murder in the 2022 stabbing death of a prominent Las Vegas investigative journalist over unflattering articles he had written about Telles’ leadership in office.

After two days of deliberations, the 12-member jury found Telles guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday.
