Family of Man Fatally Stabbed in an Illinois Walmart Files a Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against the Company
The family of Jason Jenkins, 18, an employee who was murdered in a stabbing attack inside a Rockford Walmart store on March 24th, is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the company.
The suit, brought by the law firm of Curcio and Casciato, names Walmart, Brosnan Security, and Timothy Carter as the defendants.
The lawsuit charges that Walmart and Brosnan Risk Consulting Ltd, failed to apprehend Carter prior to the stabbing, failed to have a proper emergency action plan, failed to warn shoppers of Carter’s presence, and failed to contact law enforcement in a timely manner.
