Father-Son Pair Arrested in $2.6M St. Louis Theft Scheme

A father and son from St. Louis have been charged for their roles in an organized theft ring responsible for millions of dollars in stolen goods and damages.
According to probable cause statements from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, detectives began investigating the theft ring in August 2024. Thanks to months of digging and the use of informants, detectives identified Curtis R. Lasky, 60, and Cody R. Lasky, 25, as “integrally involved” in the scheme.
