Five Star Bank agreed to a $29.5 million class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims it failed to provide proper notice after repossessing vehicles.
The Five Star Bank settlement benefits individuals whose vehicles were repossessed by Five Star Bank and who were sent specific forms of notice between May 16, 2011, and Sept. 30, 2021.
Five Star BankĀ is a financial institution with locations in New York and Pennsylvania. The bank offers a variety of services such as personal loans, business loans and mortgages.
