Florida Student Charged in Infant’s Death After Dorm Birth

A 19-year-old college student has been charged in connection to the death of an infant in Florida. According to police, the student allegedly gave birth in her dorm room and left the newborn in a trash can in April.

According to a press release from the Tampa Police Department, 19-year-old Brianna Moore was arrested in connection to the death of an infant at the University of Tampa on April 28, 2024.
