Former Coach at Washington State Files Lawsuit for Termination After Refusal of COVID-19 Vaccine

Former Washington State head coach Nick Rolovich has filed a lawsuit against the university, athletic director Pat Chun and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee, seeking damages over his firing last year due to his refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine. Here’s what you need to know.

Rolovich made a religious exemption request, which was denied, as the school said it could not make proper accommodations in his role as head football coach.
