Goldman Sachs to Acquire Stake in Excel Sports Management

Goldman Sachs has confirmed a strategic partnership with Excel Sports Management, the agency that represents Tiger Woods, Caitlin Clark and Nikola Jokic.

While financial terms were not disclosed, it was previously reported by the Financial Times (FT) that Goldman Sachs’ private equity division would acquire a controlling stake in the agency at a valuation close to US$1 billion.

As part of the deal, investment firm Shamrock Capital, which has invested in Excel since 2020, will vacate its shares.
