Hennepin County Settles Jail Death Lawsuit for $3.4 Million

 Hennepin County has agreed to pay $3.4 million to settle a wrongful death lawsuit brought by the family of Lucas Bellamy. It is thought to be one of the largest jail death settlements in Minnesota history, according to court records.

In January, KARE 11 reported how Bellamy begged for days to be taken to the hospital.
