Illinois AG Announces $10 Million Settlement with Major Cell Carriers

 Illinois Attorney General Raoul’s office alongside the other states attorney generals reached a $10.25 million bipartisan settlement with AT&T, Cricket Wireless, T-Mobile, Cellco and Verizon on Thursday.

According to a news release from Raoul’s office, the settlement comes after a multistate investigation into wireless carriers’ misleading advertising.

In total, Illinois will receive roughly $387,000 of the total sum.
