Judge Denies a Nevada School District’s Request for Injunction Against Teachers’ Union

A district court judge on Tuesday denied the Clark County School District’s request for an injunction against the teachers’ union as contract negotiations between the two sides continue.

The judge denied CCSD’s bid to prevent what the school district argued was an impending strike, saying there was not enough evidence that the Clark County Education Association planned to take such an action.

In addition, the judge said all parties will return to court within a day’s notice if there’s any evidence of a coordinated work stoppage.
