Kansas State Reaches $12M Settlement Over Contested Firing of Former Men’s Basketball Coach Jerome Tang

Kansas State has reached a settlement with former men’s basketball coach Jerome Tang, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, more than seven months after the school fired the coach.
The deal will reportedly pay Tang $12 million of the $18.7 million buyout he was owned from his contract. Tang is currently working as associate head coach for Baylor under head coach Scott Drew.
