Los Angeles Based AIDS Foundation to Pay Nearly $1.5 Million to Resolve Allegations it Violated the False Claims Act

Federal authorities said Tuesday that a Los Angeles-based non-profit, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), agreed to pay nearly $1.5 million to resolve allegations it violated the False Claims Act.
Angelenos have likely seen one of AHF’s many hard-to-miss billboards and bus bench advertisements that are scattered throughout the city. They can also be found nationwide, and there are even Spanish ones.
