Man Sentenced for Gun Charge in Death of Rapper

A man accused of killing rapper MO3 was sentenced in federal court Tuesday for a gun charge. The sentencing comes nearly two years after the rapper was gunned down.

Kewon Dontrell White, 23, was given 105 months in federal prison after pleading guilty in May to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the U.S. attorney’s office announced Tuesday. White’s attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.

The charge was filed after Lancaster police found a 9 mm pistol in White’s pocket in August 2020. White had fled from them on a dirt bike — and later, on foot — when police tried to pull him over on traffic violations.
