Nebraska AG Announces an $18.75 Million Settlement Between State and State Troopers

One of the longest lawsuits in Nebraska history is over.
The state announced Thursday a settlement with more than 400 current and former state troopers.
Attorney General Mike Hilgers said the total settlement is $18.75 million for a lawsuit on the underpayment of retirement funds.
“It is likely one of the longest civil cases in our state’s history,” Hilgers said.
