Nine Women Sue Virginia Restaurant, Cork & Bull, Alleging Racial Discrimination During November Incident

A group of nine women who said in November they were kicked out of a Chesapeake restaurant after a fight between unrelated patrons have filed a $5 million federal lawsuit against the restaurant.

The nine women, described in the lawsuit as African-American, said they were racially stereotyped and denied service at Cork & Bull Chophouse on Belaire Avenue. They were also removed from the restaurant and verbally assaulted, they said.
