Online Auction Company Copart to Acquire ACV Auctions in Transaction Valued at $1.9 Billion

Online auction company Copart has agreed to acquire Buffalo-based ACV Auctions in a cash transaction valued around $1.9 billion.

According to the announcement, Copart is offering $10.50 per share for ACV Auctions. The offer represents about a 45% premium over ACV’s stock price before rumors of a potential buyout began circulating.
