Owners of a Pharmaceutical Wholesaling Company Sentenced for Selling $92M in Black Market HIV Drugs

Two owners of a pharmaceutical wholesaling company were sentenced to a combined 38 years in prison for leading a nationwide scheme to illegally divert HIV medications, endangering vulnerable patients and tainting the U.S. drug supply chain.
Brothers Patrick Boyd, 47, and Charles Boyd, 43, founders of Safe Chain Solutions, were sentenced after being convicted in federal court in October 2025. Charles received 20 years in prison, while Patrick was sentenced to 18.
