Prosecutors No Longer Seeking Death Penalty Against Nick Reiner for Alleged Murders of Parents, Rob and Michelle Reiner

Prosecutors are no longer seeking the death penalty against Nick Reiner, who is accused in the double murders of his parents, director Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner.

Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced his decision Tuesday, saying the maximum sentence Reiner can now receive is life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted.
