Sony Agrees to $7.85M Settlement Over Alleged Inflated Prices for Digital Games on the PlayStation Store

Sony Interactive Entertainment has agreed to a proposed $7.85 million settlement in a federal antitrust class action alleging it inflated prices for digital games on the PlayStation Store. 

A California judge is set to consider final approval later this year. According to Saveri Law Firm, Sony Interactive Entertainment has reached a proposed settlement in a class action lawsuit alleging it overcharged consumers for digital games sold through the PlayStation Store, according to filings in federal court in San Francisco.
