The Department of Justice Sues the Pennsylvania Court System Over Alleged Opioid Use Disorder Discrimination
The Justice Department has filed suit against the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The department previously notified the UJS that its courts had engaged in discrimination by prohibiting or limiting the use of lawfully prescribed medication to teat Opioid Use Disorder by individuals under court supervision.
