The Picklr, Indoor Pickleball Facility Franchisor, Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Indoor pickleball facility franchisor The Picklr filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy late Friday night. An investor group led by The Picklr investor and franchisee Tom Neale has committed $4.8M in financing and would sponsor The Picklr’s reorganization.

The Picklr was founded in 2021 and began franchising locations two years later. The company’s footprint has scaled quickly in the years since, now boasting more than 70 domestic locations as well as facilities in Australia, Canada and Japan.
