Triller Drops Its Multi-Million Dollar Jake Paul Boxing Match Copyright Lawsuit

In 2021, social media company Triller launched an aggressive $100m legal campaign against entities that allegedly streamed the Jake Paul vs Ben Askren boxing match without permission. It hasn’t really gone to plan. In fact, Triller has now dismissed all of its claims against its main target and in other cases, most of the bangs have turned into whimpers.
Jake Paul vs Ben Askren was one the most-hyped boxing events of recent years, despite the former having limited experience in the boxing ring and the latter having none.
Askren was quickly knocked out in the Triller-promoted match, giving fans poor value for their PPV spend. Well, those who paid for it, at least.
