Two Former Tyson Foods Employees Sue for Alleged Racial Discrimination and Wrongful Termination

Two former Tyson Foods employees have filed lawsuits against the company, alleging racial discrimination and wrongful termination, according to court documents.
Alvin Clark, 62, and his former co-worker Matthew Reeves were employed at Tyson Foods’ poultry plant in Danville, Va.
Clark, a Black man, was hired as a level 8 maintenance mechanic in July 2024. Reeves, a white man, was hired as a level 5 maintenance mechanic in May 2024. Both were fired on March 26, 2025. They filed separate lawsuits in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia on March 16.
