Two Teenage Employees Sue Chili’s for Sexual Harassment

Two former employees at a Chili’s Grill & Bar restaurant in Freehold allege they were sexually harassed by male coworkers and their complaints to management were ignored.

In a discrimination lawsuit filed in Monmouth County Superior Court, the two teenage employees claim they were “groped, touched, and ogled” on a daily basis during their employment last year and early this year at the Chili’s on Route 9.

Named in the suit is Brinker International, a hospitality company headquartered in Texas that owns the Chili’s chain. The company did not respond to a request for comment.

New York attorney John C. Luke, who is representing the employees, said his clients tried to report the harassment but the general manager didn’t act on their complaints.
