Tyre Sampson’s Mother Speaks Out For the First Time

For the very first time, we’re hearing from the mother of Tyre Sampson, who died on the Orlando FreeFall at ICON Park.

ABC News got an exclusive interview with Nekia Dodd after she and her family filed a lawsuit against several companies on Monday.

“This coulda been prevented. It coulda been prevented — it shoulda been prevented,” Dodd said.

Dodd made it clear that she wants justice for her son.

According to her lawsuit, the ride has height and weight limits, which her son exceeded, but the ride has no signage posted notifying riders of the restrictions.
