United States Steel Is Found Liable in a $7.2 Million Mesothelioma Case

The Plaintiff was a career union pipefitter who died of mesothelioma at 62 years of age. He was a contractor at the United States Steel Gary and South works facilities.

The case was tried against United States Steel Corporation and Fisher Controls International, LLC. The jury found United States Steel liable. 

The jury awarded the Plaintiff $7,217,656.00.
